Continue readingThe only proper purpose of a government is to protect man’s rights, which means: to protect him from physical violence. A proper government is only a policeman, acting as an agent of man’s self-defense, and, as such, may resort to force only against those who start the use of force. The only proper functions of a government are: the police, to protect you from criminals; the army, to protect you from foreign invaders; and the courts, to protect your property and contracts from breaches or fraud by the others, to settle disputes by rational rules, according to objective law.
Oil is Property by Warfare for our Lifestyle
While looking for patriotic images to use for reference for my blasphemous paintings I ran across some old American Heritage Magazines. I stumbled upon an article that I found fascinating ‘The Tyranny of Oil’ by Carl Solberg. What really fascinated me about the article was that it seemed straight forward. It was written before the embassy attacks in 79 so it seemed to be summing up the situation and villainy of the U.S. before the situation became politically charged here in the United States.
The United States involvement in the middle east was born out of the need for oil to wage war. It was Churchill who first realized that petroleum was vital in waging modern warfare. In response to this a handful of companies with the might of the United States empire undertook the task of controlling the flow of oil in the middle east. This began our current cycle. Must have oil for war, must wage war for oil.

As I was writing on property rights, propertarianism and the capitalist right which often falls under a category of anarcho-capitalist, I realized that a few foundations were needed to expand on the concepts I was addressing. I am therefore writing this as an introduction of sorts to the next article. When speaking of property in the negative it will be beneficial to clarify what oppositions I have to property. When speaking of property in the negative it will be beneficial to acknowledge diverse definitions of property which conflict.

The United States is blind. Media blurs pop news as it ignores world events. We focus on soap opera drama bickering between figure heads and never critically evaluate anything. The average citizen of the U.S. does not care or know what is happening in the world. The views presented are not only myopic, but limited and heavily influenced by nationalist messages.

As we go forward with anarchist solutions building alternatives outside of the system we must realize that our strength will come from our numbers. As we build in numbers we must be educating. Education is a vital key to reaching anarchy. The anarchist community in Spain grew in numbers by reaching the people through education. They did so through anarchist publications and free schools. There was a focus on the young, raising them in anarchist philosophy and free thinking as opposed to state ran schooling which tends to educate one to submit to the system and to embrace the state. It is important to look at Spains success in this and understand what contributed to obtaining anarchism for the period of time they did. Free Schools, education was the key to equipping and reaching the people.
